Interior Decorating Core Principles

The purpose of this course is to equip students with a sound understanding of the decorating basics, including principles and elements, colour and style & trends and to provide them with the tools to produce a well-designed interior. 

Colour and its application to the decoration of interiors will be addressed and students will have the opportunity to test colour schemes, create a Prang colour wheel and experiment with tints and shades. 

Students will be encouraged to apply their understanding of the decorating principles and elements when defining and evaluating personal style and trends.
