MEET YOUR LECTURERS
JAIMIE CORBISHLEY
With a passion for education, Jaimie has her P.G. Dip in Higher Education along with other qualifications including interior design. She has been a lecturer since 2007 and has been in the interior design industry for several years. She enjoys enriching minds and inspiring students and loves seeing the spark in student’s eyes when the penny drops. Her dedication to nurturing students and providing quality education can be seen in the care and attention she gives to each student.
JACO LANDMAN
Jaco enthusiastically runs the the third-year studio for the Diploma in Interior Design full-time programme and lecturers a range of first, second, and third-year modules. His Bachelor of Technology in Architectural Technology qualification has given him a base for his dedication to design. He is a passionate designer with 10 years of experience in the industry and a project portfolio ranging from small renovations, high-end residential, heritage applications to corporate and hospitality. He is excited and confident that his experience and “killer smile” will contribute to the development and professional growth of every student into young professionals ready to conquer the world.
JEREMY VOLKMANN
Jeremy is the managing director at BHC and is an integral part of BHC. He has taught at BHC since 2003 and enjoys being a lecturer on the full-time Interior Design programme. His passion for design can be seen through his engaging lessons with students. Jeremy has his Bachelors of Technology in Interior Design and is a fully registered and practicing Architectural Technologist.
LIEZL VERFUSS
Liezl has been a BHC lecturer since 2013. As a lecturer, Liezl teaches on the full-time Interior Decorating programme, as well as the full-time Interior Design programme. She runs the studios for the first year in both programmes and teaches other modules to the second and third years.
As a professional, Liezl has worked in the industry since 2006 and specialises in renovations, alterations and council submissions, along with wedding layout planning.
